TEAMS Express has been designed to work as an add-on for your website and channel management system.

The system automatically manages your payment rules for each booking ensuring all payments are processed automatically and banked directly into your hotel bank account as quickly as possible.

Automatically Processing Your Reservations

All reservations, whether they come from your website booking engine or channel management system, can be processed by TEAMS Express.  Our adherence to international standards and conformance to channel management and OTA standards, means that we can ensure your payment policies and procedures are automated, and result in positive cash flows for your business.

All reservations are processed and reported on a daily basis.  Throughout the reservation and payment process, you receive automatically generated reports and spreadsheets that keep you fully informed as to how much money is being transacted.

The system automatically informs you when payments fail, and also includes fraud detection features.

Automated Payment Processing

TEAMS Express processes all credit and debit card automated payments directly to your bank account.

TEAMS Express supports all the major banks and numerous payment gateways.  We support all the main internet merchant acquirers (HSBC, Barclaycard, Streamline, Cardnet, AMEX, Bank Of Ireland etc).

TEAMS Express includes support for the following card types

• International Maestro

• specially negotiated South African Visa /Mastercard cards. It also supports various European specific cards through partner gateways that include but are not limited to

Depending on your banking requirements and solution, terms and conditions may apply to some, or all of, the above cards.

Automated Payment Rules

TEAMS Express supports numerous payment rules that support your business requirements and channel requirements.

Enhanced Built-in Emailer

TEAMS Express has a built-in emailer that ensures all emails are sent out in the correct email form, with the correct attachments, in an auditable manner.  Payment receipts are automatically generated and emailed to the customer for every successful payment.  The payment receipt is emailed out as a PDF document, and promotional material can be included as part of the email.

The following emails are available as part of the supported operational processes within TEAMS Express:-

1. Booking Confirmation (Payment Processed Successfully)
2. Booking Confirmation Email (Payment Required)

4. Post Departure Email (including attached payment receipt)
5. Card Failed To Process Email

TEAMS Express is a PCI DSS compliant system

TEAMS Express is fully PCI Compliant, this ensures all sensitive data is dealt in accordance to Data Security Standards.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance standards are a sophisticated set of information security rules that ensure the safe management and processing of debit and credit card data.

The PCI Security Standards Council is an open global forum, launched in 2006, that is responsible for the development, management, education, and awareness of the PCI Security Standards.  Their website has lots of useful information regards the various standards.

PCI DSS compliance is not an option but a requirement for any merchant, bank or processor who handles payment card information.

PCI DSS compliance applies to any company or organization that handles payment cards. Whether the card is handled as part of an electronic process or a manual process, the PCI DSS standards apply.

Penalties for Non-Compliance range from fines to the loss of your card processing facilities.

Hardware/Software Requirements

TEAMS Express has no hardware or software requirements, no software is installed on your PC’s or servers. All the functions are automatic and you do not need to connect to the AVQuest TEAMS servers.
